Description:

Learn about steroids, IMiDs, and PIs: three classes of drugs used to treat multiple myeloma.

Module Objectives:

  • Review the uses and typical doses of glucocorticosteroids (steroids), immunomodulatory drugs (IMiDs), and proteasome inhibitors (Pls) when treating multiple myeloma
  • Familiarize patients and practitioners with common side effects brought about by steroids, iMiDs and PIs
  • Prepare patients and practitioners for possible concerns which may arise when using steroids, iMiDs and PIs as treatment for myeloma.
